Eric McMahon is the Coaching and Sport Science Program Manager at the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) headquarters in Colorado Springs. He has extensive coaching experience from roles with the Texas Rangers, Milwaukee Brewers, Major League Baseball (MLB), and various collegiate athletics programs. At the NSCA, McMahon leads initiatives to advance coaching education, advocacy, and professional development across all levels of sport, including partnerships within the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLS, and MLB. A former college football player at St. Lawrence University, he earned his bachelors degree in biology before completing a masters degree in exercise science from Springfield College. He also holds professional certificates in data analytics and association and credentialing management. A frequent presenter at national and international events, McMahon actively contributes to the field through numerous published articles and book chapters, and serves as the host of the NSCA Coaching Podcast.
