Colorado Springs, CO – The NSCA Foundation is proud to announce the recipients of the 2018 Coaching Advancement Grant, Nicholas Cuthrell, and the Eleiko Equipment Grant, North High School in Aurora, Colorado.
The Coaching Advancement Grant is a new offering from the NSCA Foundation done in partnership with USA Weightlifting. The grant was recently awarded to Cuthrell and was created to support current NSCA Members not yet certified by the NSCA in any form and those who are currently USA Weightlifting Level 1 Coaches looking to advance their education. The grant covers the recipient to take either the CSCS, CSPS, NSCA-CPT or TSAC-F and a USA Weightlifting Level 2 Course.
The Eleiko Equipment grant was awarded to North High School in Aurora, Colorado. This is the first time this particular grant has been awarded by Eleiko Sport USA with support of the NSCA Foundation. Eleiko Sport USA is the Leading Provider of Professional Equipment for Strength and Conditioning, Weightlifting, Powerlifting and Professional Fitness. The Eleiko Equipment Grant was established to assist inner city schools with recently established weightlifting clubs gain access to the best equipment in the world. The grant provided $15,000 in Eleiko equipment.
