This presentation will give a historical perspective of microdosing of training for athlete development.  We will discuss fallacies and misconceptions as well as review successful systems where microdosing was prevalent as well as highlighting current trends.

Strength for Life: Short Workouts to Enhance Daily Living for Adults

This session focuses on practical approaches to improving physical strength and functional fitness for adults. The speaker will share her experiences working with adults to strengthen their bodies for activities of daily living, using accessible methods and tools. LeAnn will have participants go through bodyweight exercises and basic modalities that enhance functional strength as well as discuss the concept of microdosing workouts —incorporating short, manageable sessions into daily routines to boost physical fitness.
