For 28 years, the NSCA Coaches Conference has helped strength and conditioning professionals push the field forward — bridging research and practice, sharing strategies, and strengthening our coaching community.
Yet, over time, we heard a common challenge: the timing just wasn’t working. Athletic schedules made attending difficult, and we needed a better way to include you. As collegiate and professional seasons have expanded, January has become harder to manage — and many of you told us July simply works better.
After years of consistent feedback and careful review, the NSCA Board of Directors has made a pivotal decision: Starting in 2025, the Coaches Conference will become part of the NSCA National Conference (NSCACon). This strategic shift brings the best of Coaches Conference to a broader audience — and at a better time for the community it was built to support. It also encourages deeper exchange with professionals across the performance landscape.
Now, with greater visibility, richer learning opportunities, and more ways to be recognized for your contributions. Here’s what you can expect:
This decision wasn’t made lightly. We’re grateful for the legacy we’ve built together — and committed to growing it with you, starting at NSCACon 2025. The stories, relationships, and impact that defined the Coaches Conference now have space to expand, with you at the center.
