Joel Martin is an Associate Professor of Kinesiology at GeorgeMason University. He earned his PhD from Pennsylvania StateUniversity in Kinesiology, with an emphasis in biomechanicsand motor control. Martins research interests are focused onimproving the health and performance of tactical populations.He has authored over 35 peer-reviewed articles and over 60presentations at national conferences. Martin is actively involvedwith the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) asa member of the Virginia State Advisory Board and Tactical SpecialInterest Group (SIG).
