Carrie Ellis received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degreefrom Duke University before becoming a Certified Strength andConditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strengthand Conditioning Association (NSCA) in 2012. She served as anactive-duty United States Army physical therapist for five years,serving two years as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division.After separating from the military, she continued to work for humanperformance optimization and injury prevention programs in theSpecial Operations community at Fort Bragg, NC for three years.Currently, she is an Assistant Professor at DeSales University in theSport and Exercise Physiology Department.
