Dr John McMahon is a Reader in Sport and Exercise Biomechanics at the University of Salford. Johns primary research focuses on the application of force plate assessments within professional sport. He has co-authored numerous peer-reviewed journal articles, conference proceedings and book chapters. John has recently co-edited two strength and conditioning textbooks. He also leads the level 6 and 7 (MSc) strength and conditioning modules at the University of Salford. John currently serves as a grant committee member for the NSCA Foundation and is the acting Editor-In-Chief for the International Journal of Strength and Conditioning.
