Guy Leahy is currently serving as the Health Promotion Program Coordinator at Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque, NM. Leahy is a member of the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the NSCA. Leahy is the author/co-author of over 40 articles/papers, including original research which has appeared in publications such as The Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research, TSAC Report, Medicine and Science in Sports and Exercise, Nature, Science, and Scientific American. He has presented at many conferences, most recently at the 2018 NSCA National Conference. He was also a guest speaker at the 2012/2013 TSAC Annual Training. In addition, Leahy reviews manuscripts for several journals, including The Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research. Leahy holds a Master of Education degree from Western Washington University and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Oregon.
