Jason Stone is an applied physiologist and incoming PhD studentwith Bachelors degree from Miami University Ohio and Mastersdegree from Texas Christian University in Education in ExercisePhysiology. After undergrad, he transitioned to a role with AirForce Research Laboratories as a researcher in the 711th HumanPerformance Wing at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. Whilethere, his team examined new functional training strategiescomprising concurrent physical and cognitive task loads inorder to improve mission readiness in special operators andactive duty airmen. Currently, he serves as a senior researcherin the Human Performance Innovation Center at the WestVirginia University (WVU) Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute,contributing to physiological and performance tracking of eliteathletes and warfighters. Stones primary research interestsfocus on physiological and neurocognitive aspects of athlete andwarrior performance.
