Jose Antonio, PhD

Jose Antonio is the CEO and co-founder of the International Society of Sports Nutrition and is a Fellow of the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). He is also the director of the Exercise and Sport Science Program at Nova Southeastern University in Davie, FL. He was the 2005 recipient of the NSCA Research Achievement Award and the 2009 NSCA Educator of the Year; moreover, he has published 14 books and numerous peer-reviewed scientific and consumer publications. Antonio completed his PhD and post-doctoral research fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX. He is an Assistant Professor at Nova Southeastern University in Exercise and Sports Science in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
