Kimberly E. Allen is a doctoral student at the University of Southern Mississippi. She is a recent graduate of the University of Alabama, where she received her Masters degree in Human Performance. Allen has worked in the fitness industry for six years, and has been a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) for five years. She has been published in The Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research, and has been awarded the NSCAs Womens Scholarship twice. Her interest in tactical strength and conditioning led to the development of her thesis research, which included a partnership with the University of Alabama Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC).
