Nate Palin is a coach, speaker, author, rapper, veteran, and father of one. He served as a leader in the 2nd Ranger Battalion for seven years prior to his transition to strength and conditioning. Over the course of five combat deployments in support of Operations Enduring and Iraqi Freedom, Nate experienced the militarys performance shortcomings firsthand and observed the need for enhanced physical training to better support mission critical tasks. He began his coaching career in 2010 as owner of The Movement Project LLC, an entrepreneurial personal training effort, then narrowed his focus to tactical strength and conditioning as a performance specialist for EXOS in Washington, DC in 2012. Nate coached Special Operations Forces at Joint Base Lewis-McChord from 2015 to 2018 before managing the National Strength and Conditioning Associations (NSCA) Tactical program, where he co-authored Preparing for the Army Combat Fitness Test for Human Kinetics and the NSCA. Nate is an adjunct professor for CalUPenns graduate program in tactical strength and conditioning and, most recently, he serves as Director of Education for the FitOps Foundation. He is humbled by the opportunity to facilitate a continuum of coaching opportunities for veterans seeking a renewed purpose that is tightly tied to the one he was fortunate enough to find within the human performance profe
The NSCA is a recognized 501(c)(3) educational nonprofit dedicated to advancing strength and conditioning research and education for all people.
