Matthew Rhea is an Associate Professor in the Human Movement program at A.T. Still University and is the President/Director of Research for the RACE Rx Academy of Exercise Sciences. Rhea earned a PhD at Arizona State University (2004). He presented at the International Olympic Committees World Congress on Sports Science in Athens, Greece in 2004 and at the International Conference on Strength Training in Odense, Denmark in 2006. A regular contributor to the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) conferences and journals, Rhea was awarded the Outstanding Young Investigator Award from the NSCA in 2008.
The NSCA is a recognized 501(c)(3) educational nonprofit dedicated to advancing strength and conditioning research and education for all people.
